Hiya,
I've got my mortgage with them at present, have done for five years.

What is likely to happen if:
a) Someone else buys it
b) No-one buys it - This is my concern.

I'm starting to get worried

I have a nr mortgage too and yes i was worried when the shit hit the fan but now i am not so worried as they will be taken over by soomeone and you will still owe the same amount of money. I also think that the goverment (maybe wishfully thinking) wont let all the NR holders suffer.

We've got a NR mortgage too - not worried at all as you'll carry on paying as usual to whoever the mtg is sold to, if you're on the standard variable rate it's possible that could change (up or down), but if you're on a fixed rate or tracker there should be no change at all. It's not the case that anyone will suddenly demand you repay your mortgage in full, don't worry about that!
