Buying a housing association property

Has anyone used the right to acquire scheme? Desperately trying to get on the property ladder and there is no way I'll ever afford the area I live in now. I really don't want to move. It's semi rural and has amazing schools near by. Currently nervously waiting for a response from the housing association.

I've never used it but would like to in the future for my house. There's some brilliant advice on the gov website and with my tenancy agreement the housing association even had a section about it.

Maybe speak to one of their advisors?
