I am nearly done on the welcome offers and didn't know if anyone wanted to join in on a support thread for the summer of sports!

I'll join as it seems like we're in the same position! I've done most of the welcome offers and have started looking at the reload offers, but it's harder to make money off of those! Joined some clubs like skybet and mansionbet which aren't too bad, but hoping there's an expert on here to explain how to make the same amount of money!

It's a good idea to get set up on Bet365 before the start of the Euros so you're ready for their 2up offer.

Hi, in order to keep making money, it's well worth signing up to Oddsmonkey or Profit Accumulator. Both will have introductory offers so you can check them out for a small or no fee.

I tried Oddsmonkey and then subscribed as it is very easy to profit from "arbs" i.e. the difference in odds between the bookies and the exchanges. Word of warning though ... don't try to arb the difference in odds between exchanges and exchanges as you may lose money.

Oddsmonkey also has a daily calendar of reload offers and a forum for odds boosts.

You can also do some casino welcome offers which I did and made a nice profit from, but I stopped after those as the reloads involve an element of risk and I preferred the sports betting due to level of certainty.

I used to make a reasonable amount of money from MB until recently. I have been gubbed by a few of the big bookies so once Team Profit started charging for the reloads I moved over to Casino instead. I'll hopefully still be able to make a bit MB once the Euros start. Betfred have a good offer on the Euro's - refund if your bet on the england games loses.

@NannyAndJohn I haven't even started on 2 ups and really need to get my head around them ASAP.

@EmmaC78 how are you finding the casino? I'm not sure I could deal with the uncertainty- is there a lot of that?

I only really lasted 3 months with MB ... Gubbed by so many in such a short time!! and don't have time during the day for EPs etc. I've moved solely to casino now, made about 14k doing that in 2yrs.

@savvy7 which do you prefer? I've got the OM trial at the mo and do like it but the oddsmatcher seems quite slow and that's what I use it for mainly.

I probably spend a couple of hours every day. There's definitely risk involved and you have to have the right head on for it because you can go on big downswings (sometimes gives me the hump even now! ) but have to say in 2 years I've never finished a month at a loss, always in profit.

I'm gubbed by just about all sports offer bookies except 365 so don't do much sport anymore. Casino I do find profitable though. Matched betting around 5k in total, casino I'm at 10k in just under 2 yrs but I couldn't do a lot of the casino welcome offers as I already had accounts from the sports side. Gubbed by quite a few casinos but still averaging £500 a month or so, the varience is much larger than sports and you can lose money so need a bigger bank roll to take the rough with the smooth.

2ups are really simple just back and lay a team, stick to odds over 1.8 (anything less isn't worth getting on will be difficult to profit). Hope the team go 2up and pick a strategy, either cash out immediately, cash out when game goes 2-1 (more profit but less likely), or hope for a full turnaround and your team not winning. Even better profit but very rare. All methods work out the same profit in the long run, it's just if you want steady stream of profit which requires you keeping up to date on the match, or if you want to bang a bet on and forget it exists.

Also highly recommend Oddsmonkey. I know there are many free websites and tools but their oddsmatching tool will save you so much time and pay for itself in the long run. I couldn't sit and try to manually find bets there are only so many hours in the day.

Thanks that's very helpful. How much of a QL do you make on each game though? How much do you make per game generally?

Yes, it can be a bit up and down but overall I am massively up. I did the 10 day trial on Team Casino last year and made a few hundred but didn't really enjoy it. I started again at the beginning of April and so far am £1800 up. In May alone I made £1300 but I am assuming that won't happen often. I started with £200 of my matched betting money so even when I lose it doesn't feel like my own money. I would say the best thing to do would be to set aside a few hundred pounds and then do the team casino trial for £1 and see what you think from that.

I have never done it but really savvy giving it a go. Any recommendations please? Sites etc.

For those starting out, best to ignore the advice of taking arbs - the traders at the bookies will soon spot this a mile off. If a bookie is offering a genuine boost offer, that’s fine. But constantly arbing is not good. Keep your accounts healthy and only arb on an account that has already gubbed you.

I second poster above who suggested signing up to Bet365, well worth it for potential 2up during the Euros (also PaddyPower).

If you’re not already on there, sign up to Team Profit website and also their FB group.

I second @EmmaC78 re team casino. It is well worth doing the free trial (which gives you access to the site), but it’s also worth then doing at least one month with paid subscription (£15). This will give you much more time to read the guides, do some offers/reloads etc.

Casino is a longer-term game. It can be REALLY frustrating when you’re on a downswing, but the strategy is sound. It should balance out over time.

Best advice I can give re casino is - don’t do it blind. You will get lots of offers emailed to you which may look really tempting. Half of them will be shite and you risk losing a fair chunk of money. If you want to try it, do it properly.

For those wanting to get into 2ups, download the Team Profit calculator app. It has a few different calculators on there, one of which is for 2ups (aka early payout). You need to keep a note of the odds for your initial back and lay bets. When your team goes up, you input those odds, plus the current BACK odds on the exchange, and the calculator tells you what bet to place on the exchange to profit. But you need to read and understand the guides first so that you know what you’re doing!

@LadyTiredWinterBottom2. - best advice to begin with is check out the Team Profit website. They have a few guides and video tutorials which explain the basics. Don’t worry - you WILL feel confused, but re-read and re-watch.

Then, join their Facebook groups (there are 2, one of which is for newbies - best to focus on that one first so you don’t get bogged down by the more advanced stuff in the general group).

If you decide to go ahead, don’t rush things. Check, check and check again what you’re doing. Placing your very first bet can feel daunting. You need to understand what you’re doing and why you’re doing it. If you’re unsure, post in the FB group or message an admin - they will take a look at what you plan on doing and will let you know if, and why, it might not be right.

Football matches are best to begin with, the odds are a lot more stable.

Put the time into learning and it’s well worth it. I took far too long to get into it, wish I’d started earlier. As I’ve mentioned above, I wouldn’t touch casino blind - you really need a subscription service to navigate those offers.
