What happens to UC when baby is 5?

My baby is almost one so I'm just asking out of curiosity. I currently work 18 hours a week and I've read that when they turn 5 you have to work 25 hours. What actually happens though. Would they expect me to leave my job and get some random 25 hour job? Would my allowance drop?

Like I said I'm just curious m! Hopefully I'll be out of the UC system by then when I win the lottery or get swept off my feet by a multi millionaire 🤣🙈

You are expected to earn 25 x nmw s if you earn more than nmw currently you will probably be ok. It's unlikely they would do much anyway if you were just under.

Thank you! That makes sense because homecoming report your pay not hours don't they so how would UC even no?
If I'm still in the same job and on UC I just wondered why would happen because it's not as simple as just getting the extra hours at my place!
