Tax credits to universal credit? Does a small increase in hours trigger a change?

I'm a lone parent and currently work 18hrs a week (over 3 days) and may be able to increase by a couple of hours to 20hrs.

But I don't want to do this if it tips me into universal credit. Does anyone know what the threshold is to be moved over?

You can stay on tax credits. It might be worth contacting citizens Advice and asking them to do a "better off" calculation are some people can actually be better off on UC. It would be up to you about whether to switch.
