Hello wise mumsnetters,

I have 40k in 2 easy access isas one that I opened last tax year 2020/21 and one I’ve just opened 21/22.

Have just seen an isa with a really good rate that allows transfers in! I assume I can transfer my 2020/21 ISA but can I transfer the one I just opened for tax year 21/22 as well? Thank you 😊

I would check the T&Cs of the new 21/22 tax year ISA you have opened to make sure you can close it without penalties. You should be able to transfer both old years funds and this years funds to a new product. Just make sure that the new ISA you opened with this years allowance you are sending over that full balance as if you split it it would be classified as funding 2 cash ISAs in the same tax year.
