Has anyone ever knocked over a bollard? How much will it cost me?!

Just that really... accidentally drove into a bollard. Was going v slowly but it's still taken the bollard out of the ground and damaged the pavement... no damage to the car oddly.

I've reported to the police and the council - just wondering what to expect the bill to look like and if insurance usually cover?

Any experience? Thanks!

Two panels and a post on the motorway cost my insurance £250, 25 years ago, I hope that helps!

Haha! I'm driving a 10 year old Yaris! I have no idea how it happened... I can't have been doing more than 10 mph - I was turning a corner from a stop sign and my car wouldn't get any faster then that if I floored it (which I didn't, I drive like a granny!). In hindsight I'm wondering if it might have already been down and I collided with it that was as I didn't see anything? But who knows?!
