House Insurance - Can I claim for a mobile phone?

I am not at home at present, so can't check documents.

My dd (2) has thrown my dh's phone down the toilet when she was using her potty (she hates us being in there when she is weeing). We are not sure if this was the time she threw the phone in, or another time when my ds got the phone. We couln't find the phone, asked ds this morning if he had seen it, and he said that dd had threw it in. It's not in there now, ds said he pulled the flush!

So, do you think we'll be covered?

THanks

only if you have accidental damage
even then you may have to pay an excess of £100 or more

Thanks for that, I know we have the accidental part, but the excess is a worry! Be cheaper to buy a new phone.

definitely cheaper to buy a new phone - if you claim your premium is likely to go up next time.
