This questions for my younger sister. She's on minimum wage £8.72. She works 37.5 hours a week. What should she be getting roughly after tax and national insurance? She's on the normal tax code etc) thanks :)

There is a website called listen to taxman.. Head over there and type in her earnings and it will give you a breakdown of what she will come out with after tax.

Also allows you to add in any student loan, pension etc she might pay

Assuming no pension contributions or anything else, then she'd take home c. £15,205 p.a. Which would equate to c. £1,267 p.m.
