Is it ok to have 2 mortgage in principles.

So what happened I instructed a broker who I thought told me I couldn’t get what I was looking for. The next day I found another who did an agreement in principle. Now I’ve just had an email from the first saying this one has been agreed in principle. I did not know he was doing one. The other one filed today so waiting on it. 2 different banks.

Is this going to be a problem? Freaking out now!

No problems. It is just a decision in principle of an available mortgage if everything is as stated on the app. It's not binding. Don't panic. Only thing is, if you get too many credit checks done, that might affect your credit score. If you didn't even know it was being done, it would have just been a soft check, and not even show on your credit report.
