Where to put house sale equity while renting

Need to rent for 6-12 months while house hunting.

Have about £800k equity. What is the best thing to do with it? thanks

I put mine in NS&I income bonds. Check that amount is protected.

The FSCS cover temporary high balances for situations like this up to £1m for a year but otherwise - NS&I but I would put some in premium bonds as their rates are rubbish at the moment.
