Bank account for teenagers

Can anyone suggest a bank for a teenager (16)? I don't think the one we use is brilliant (ethics wise - will move when the mortgage is paid off), so am looking for one that he can use from now - I assume he will want to change when he goes to uni to get the enefot of all those student offers!

My kids are with Santander. I think if they need to
it can be converted to a student account easily enough

Yes - mine have had the Santander acc since early teens, and DS has just converted his to a student acc now he's at university and got the free railcard that came with it.
