Questions about pensions after my fathers death?

When my dad died 12 years ago nothing ever came from his pensions.

We know he paid into pensions through his life & we are unsure of who to contact with regards to finding out where they are & what happens with the money.

Does anyone know? we don't know who the pensions were with should we just contact the inland revenue?

Any help much appriciated.

Oh blimey he had many jobs throughout his life mostly on the building front as forman & site manager etc. don't think i could trace back through them.

There is an unclaimed assets register although not all institutions are covered. Also it would depend if the company had reported it as unclaimed
