Child maintenance. Deduction of earnings

Hi. I am interested in hearing how long it took for you to receive payment of child maintenance after a deduction of earnings order was enforced. My case has now switched to collect and pay because the pig has missed payments via direct pay. Any experiences would be helpful. Thanks

about 6 months once it was issued as it didn't work with the companies pay dates, then they forgot to take it, then they forgot to forward it etc etc. The employers ended up with a warning for a fine before I got any money.

I raised a deductions of earning in the Oct. and got a payment in the feb. Ex then left the job and went self employed. Star that he is. Good luck

@unicornsarereal72 God the lengths they'll go to. I have a feeling my ex will do that too. If he goes self employed he can put through less earnings to the tax office its so devious.

@Puppy72 it baffles me that there are parents out there that are so selfish they don't want to pay to support their own children. But I guess that is why they are ex's

Puppy72 · 10/09/2020 19:17

@unicornsarereal72 and that's why they don't deserve to see their children.. I think if an ex refuses to pay child maintenance they should be stripped of parental responsibility. My ex has never been a responsible parent, I've been a single mum since the day she was born x

@Puppy72 it speaks volumes about their priorities. I wish my ex would go far far away. But the kids would miss him. So I suck it up as best I can.

Puppy72 · 10/09/2020 19:37

@unicornsarereal72 just before I left he threatened me with courts etc but he's an abusive violent pig and knows he'll get supervised visits in a contact centre.. Does your ex have 50/50 with you? X

@Puppy72 fortunately not. He has one overnight a fortnight. When he can be bothered it's about 50/50 if he turns up or not. Just feel for the kids. They don't deserve him being so flaky.

Puppy72 · 10/09/2020 19:52

God. Why did we have to end up with them for fathers :(
