Credit card in credit From refund.

Hope someone can help.
I have a new day credit card with Debenhams and have received a refund from Air B and B on it from my summer holiday. It’s over £1000 and could do with the money in my bank. Is there any way I can transfer the credit? I am hopeful that in future I will also receive flights refund so don’t want £2500 sitting on my credit card.
I could use the card for paying for shopping but would rather the money in my bank account.

Yes you can ring them up and ask them to transfer the credit to you bank account.

I’ve done this recently and they’ve transferred to bank account.

The website says not to ring unless an emergency but if there’s no other way I’ll have to do it.

I did this a few weeks ago and got transferred to bank account

We logged onto our credit account online and just transferred our refund money straight into my bank account. It was easy and very quick!
