This is my first post so sorry if I've not posted this right. My question is my ex owes £1600 in unpaid child maintenance from a job he had over a 10 month period. Our daughter is 3 1/2 and he's never paid a single penny. When I finally put a claim in to CMS he dodged paying before quitting to returning to uni. He's due to finish in a months time and will be working for his dad so he father will fiddle the books. Does anyone know if you can make a private prosecution as the CMS are not fit for purpose? And if so has this been successful?
