Furlough payslip

Hi I was wondering if anyone could assist with what JRSTopUp is on my payslip? I have been furloughed and assume that JRS1 is job retention scheme payment. My employer has not mentioned they will be topping my pay up to 100% so don't think it is this.

Thankyou to any replies 😊

There will be no normal thing to use, different payroll software will name things differently.

JRS1 - that sounds like a reference to Job Retension Scheme, the 1 might be in relation to it being the first phase so 80% of gross.

JRSTopUp - that does sound like an additional payment being made by your employer. Is it 20% of your normal gross pay? It may not be, they may be topping up less but any topup is better than none.

Compare the total gross figure with the total gross figure on a payslip prior to furlough.
