Maternity allowance and corona virus self employment grant

Does anyone know if you can claim both at the same time?

Self employed and business very much survives on cafes and restaurants being open so I haven't worked or had any income for 6 weeks.
I had a call from HMRC about maternity allowance, I've qualified for the full amount and planned to start it at the beginning of June (baby isn't born yet). My original plan was to only take 4 weeks off work therefore I would only claim 4 weeks of maternity allowance.
As I haven't had an income they suggested that I could back date MA from 11 weeks before my due date which would make my start date the week after lockdown which is great as I'll receive more than I intended to which will really help and will also help going forward until my work can resume, I don't know when that will be.
Today I've received a text for the self employment grant scheme saying I qualify for that too.
I've read if you're self employed you can get the grant even if you continue to work so does the same apply with MA?

I will of course confirm this with HMRC but want to know if it's worth applying- don't want to get in trouble with the tax man!
