Will a change in childcare costs trigger a switch to universal credit?

I've googled but cannot find anything that discusses this.

We currently claim tax credits and receive help with our childcare costs (for both children at different childcare providers)

If our childcare costs change or we are no longer paying childcare for one or both children, will this trigger the transition to universal credit?

Thank you!

I had to check this too, no it doesnt. They either remove it or amend it and can reinstate when you need it again

@oooompa that’s not actually many changes that trigger a move to UC. See this link.
