Can I check status of probate?

Verrrrrrrry long story but my brother is supposed to be dealing with my late mothers probate on behalf of all of us (three siblings). However, although he's saying all the right things, I'm not totally convinced that he's done as much as he's saying he has. Does anyone know if there's a way I can check? We are all executors of the Will

As you are an Executor, you have an equal right to deal with the administration and you can contact companies, etc. yourself if you feel that things are not being done. However, if there is a Grant of Probate in your brother's sole name, then you wouldn't be able to step in and act. Xx
