My DM is on wtc but the entitled to calculator says she's entitled to 300pm on UC more than etc.
My dsis is 16 and is starting college in Sept
My dm. Works 30 hours per week.
Is she able to claim. What are her commitments. Does she need to work more hours.
Will my dsis part time hours affect it.

The best way to find out is to do the entitled to calculator and put in your sisters details and working hours etc. That should tell you

She would need to be ideally earning 35 x nmw . It's not possible to work out what she would get on UC without knowing her net income, how often she is paid and any rent amount she pays.

At 16 she is a dependant so her earnings are not counted.
You only become a non dependent at 18 and no longer in full time education. However UC do not deduct a non dep charge until 21 and then it is £75.15 per month which is taken from the housing element if you claim it.
