Hi all. Wondering if anyone knows about personal injury trust funds?

DM recieved some compensation for an injury several years ago. The money was placed in a personal injury trust fund with myself and my sister as trustees.

Recently DM has been battling cancer and has now been told it's terminal Sad. She's starting to get her affairs in order, and is wondering whether she needs to do anything with the money in the trust, or whether it will just be included in her estate when she passes? Could we just move the money to her main bank account now to make things simpler? It was put in trust as she is recieving benefits but the amount remaining isn't enough to affect them now I don't think.
