Tax free childcare and redundancy

Hi
I wonder if anyone has been in the same boat?!
Husband being redundant. When we have to reconfirm tax free childcare, I believe we get a grace period for him getting a new job of 31 days so fingers x that’s the case. However if he doesn’t have something lined up, how do payments I make after we are no longer eligible work..we have a few months worth of fees in the accounts but will they take back any top ups?
Twins at nursery two days a week so the top ups are so helpful!

The day after he is made redundant he needs to claim contributions based universal credit if you are in UK via www.gov.uk
The redundancy money is not taken into account for a certain time period
He will need to attend job centre with identification, CV, letter of Redundancy

What is contribution based UC? Do you mean New Style JSA or have they renamed it again?!?

In was in the same boat OP, I just reconfirmed as eligible in the hope that he'd find another job soon. I think it's worded like 'expect to earn £X' and I just clicked yes. Luckily he had another job by the time I confirmed again 3 months later and I just updated his details then.
