Hi I'm hearing back today wether or not I've got a job I've applied for.
Below is what I receive already from universal credit.
The job is 16hrs a week at £8.21 =£569.23

Can anyone work out what I'll be getting with uc and wages? My brain is fried and I'm struggling thank you

Have you used the benefit checker on Turn2Us?

Hi yes I've looked but it's giving me different to what I already get which is silly.
I think your account should have an option to put this in as it has your information already, would make life easier Confused

569.23- work allowance 287=282.23 excess income.
282.23 × 0.63= 177.80.

So you'll lose £177.80 from your UC award.

Because of the Ben Cap the amount you are over will come off your housing benefit.

MyDcAreMarvel · 04/02/2020 19:53

The benefit cap doesn’t apply @PityParty4one

PityParty4one · 04/02/2020 19:57

Sorry I misread the post once her earnings have been deducted her award is less than the cap.

tomatosoup4 · 05/02/2020 13:58
