Universal credit help uk members

Me and my partner recently split up and we were on a joint universal credit claim as I don’t work because I look after my 7 month old. My partner got a new job last month so was earning which meant I wasn’t due to get any universal credit. Now that we have split up I don’t have his income coming in to provide for us so will they take that into consideration when giving me my UC payment this month? Worried that they will see he earned and I won’t get anything even though we split up so I have no money. Any advice/ help understanding would be much appreciated 💜

Have you changed the claim to a single claim ?

I think you have to report the change of circumstances first, with the date you split up (presuming he has moved out) so they can treat you as a single claimant

You will need to change your claim to a single claim

I have already changed it to a single claim a few days ago not long after we split up
