Tax credit letter

Just got home to a letter about tax credit payments saying they're looking at my tax credits from April this year to make sure I'm getting right amount re childcare costs.

It says they think they might be paying me too much as a child started school in September and I haven't updated my childcare costs and it says to call to find out the info they need?!

I haven't been able to get through yet but my child was already at school before this September I didn't update them because they haven't changed?! I'm confused. Has anyone else had this before?!

Have they been paying childcare costs? What childcare have you used?

purpleme12 · 17/12/2019 17:56

Yes normal wraparound childcare.

Are you using the same childcare provider? Are costs the exact same? If yes then I doubt you need to worry, you just confirm the details are correct.

Yes I am and costs the same as before (although going up in January anyway). Thank you this is all new to me and wierd as she's been at school since before September
