Thinking of joining an MLM? Forever Living? NuSkin? Younique? Valentus? One of the cryptocurrencies, weight loss coffees or travel agencies?
Read these threads first!
The vast majority of people who join an MLM actually LOSE money.
You don't have a business when you join an MLM, you are an unpaid rep.

She got called out, full stop, outside of her little FL bubble.

She says that these pills stop the absorbing of calories from fats and carbs. The poster asked for peer reviewed papers and scientific evidence.

She did the typical victim card and deleted it.

Zero sympathy for this one I am afraid.

The perfect response to a negative comment would have been factual information about the benefits. She removed the comment because she couldn't defend the challenge

It just shows the mentality that she’s adopted - if you don’t fully support her and her business you are against her. She makes it personal, instead of responding in a businesslike manner - ‘thank you for your comment, I’ll get back to you with some information about this product as soon as I can’

No, instead she does a live in her dressing gown, repeating herself endlessly about what she does and does not have ‘an issue with’

The comment basically asked for sources for her claims that the shakes would block calorie absorption.

Nurse said this was an attack on a product that they hadn't tried. (Irrelevant) She said it wasn't fair because she was just trying to build a business for her and her son.

@Gransboyjack15 the Welsh couple who you mentioned upthread who no longer do FL - do they share a name with a famous Marilyn? If so, there’s a rumour that FL weren’t happy that they had a franchise coaching business and tried to discourage it (allegedly). Anyone else heard that one?

The bit that made me want to cry was when she said that forever living was her and her sons future.
She really believes that.
I feel desperately sad for her- she desperately wants the best for her gorgeous little boy who is clearly the love of her life but I do believe she has been hoodwinked and can’t see a way out.
I do hope she has someone supporting her.

Come on Nurse, you’re depriving your son of a secure future with all this MLM nonsense. You’re pissing money down the drain. The only person doing well out of MLM is Sexy Rexy - the CEO. Go and retrain in another career if you’re sick of nursing, but please knock FL on the head before it screws yours up anymore.

@BSintolerant yes, they were hauled into head office where they argued that they had no choice because the forever money dried up. Their downlines who qualified for cheques at the SA global rally didn't qualify for anything after that so they couldn't have been raking it in.

Not sure what qualifies them as business coaches if they have a failed MLM and bankrupt salons on their list of achievements.

I didn’t think FL would be allowed to dictate where you earn money as most people work as well as doing MLM to begin.
There’s so many people who have been brainwashed into leaving proper employment with the promise of FL providing them with a six figure income and the life of their dreams.
Totally deluded. Aiming to ‘sack the boss’ was a particular pet hate of mine!

They’re both personally bankrupt. When you’re bankrupt you’re not allowed to be a director of a limited company which is why their companies have been dissolved.

Where would we be without Companies House and the Individual Insolvency register?

Does nurse's fb business page still exist? I think she has deleted it Shock.

Perhaps not surprising as she is a State Registered Nurse and appears to be peddling supplements of dubious quality/worth with a number of medical claims which cannot actually be proved.

I wonder if the fact that two members of the public have asked questions about the studies that back up her claims has raised alarm bells for her.

If there is a formal complaint to the professional nursing organisation she is a member of, an investigation of her 'side hustle' will show she is in breach of its strict rules of membership. Pretty serious, actually, and could mean disciplinary hearing with her job.

We could speculate why she's disabled her VIP page.

Perhaps it was the last straw - desperate for engagement other than her mum, but when she does get some it's strangers being critical.

Perhaps she vented to her upline (Yawn?) who said well actually you're not allowed to make those claims. So it's offline while she makes it compliant.

Let’s hope Nurse has looked at some of the suggested links in one of the comments and had a lightbulb moment of clarity and deleted her page. I doubt it though.
