Child Trust Fund Voucher - how long before it turns up?

DS is now nearly 9 weeks old and we had all the child benefit paperwork back by the time he was 2 weeks old.
How long should I give it before applying for a replacement voucher?

Oh god they are useless - mine took SIX SODDING MONTHS!

You have to wait six weeks from the date you start getting child benefit before complaining as well - they won't investigate before then.

I complained to my MP and eventually they sorted it, but you have to chase them mercilously! Good luck!

It turned up yesterday. Now I just need to decide where to invest it.
Any recommendations gratefully received.
