Help!! Travelling to London tomorrow with 3 children. 1 is 14 so I’m aware I will need to pay for him on London Underground. I have been advised by someone to just use contactless but how on earth do I pay for him as a child?? Can anyone help please? I won’t be traveling before 9:30 and will be travelling between zones 1 and 5 on and off! Thanks

Buy an Oyster and ask them to apply the discount:
If you're visiting London and don't have a photocard, ask for the Young Visitor discount to be set up on an Oyster card. This allows a child aged 11 to 15 to travel at half adult fare for 14 days.

Thank you @DownToTheSeaAgain. Would you advise I buy an oyster too?

No just use contactless for you, same price and easier and you don't need to buy a card 🙂

Thank you! I was quietly confident about my trip until this evening! Yikes! I’m sure once we get there and I get my head around the tube I will be fine. Smile
