Life insurance for people who have health problems

Hello

My husband and I are buying our first house, and legal and general have turned us down for life insurance. Our broker said it was because I had postnatal depression when my son was born 3 years a go.

Does anyone have any recommendations for companies who accept people with past health problems and don't cost the earth?

Thanks

I think it's tricky to get life insurance for pre existing conditions. Maybe try MIND? I read somewhere that they have a list of 'mental health' friendly life insurance suppliers.

Get a better broker. See someone else you will be able to get life assurance. Mine has some exclusions due to my mental health history but wasn't a problem getting it.
Ask a friend or family member for a broker recommendation- I work for a broker and find there is nothing like a personal recommendation
