Income protection on maternity

Hi all, this is my first post ever. Is there any income protection for when you're in maternity leave? That will cover for that loss of money whilst on statutory maternity pay? Don't know if this is even possible. Smile

No, income protection insurance is for illness or redundancy. Some policies offer a waiver for maternity leave, but that simply means you don't pay premiums while you're off.
