Hi all

I'm trying to find out info on applying for a budgeting loan before I actually apply...

I have one month left on my advanced payment that I received would I need to pay this off first? Also what proof would they need for what I want the loan for? I'm in need of new fridge/freezer do i need to send them info on what one I'm planning to buy?

And last part... how long does it take from applying to receiving the money if approved

Many thanks 😊

You can do it over the phone. No proof will be needed. You can get a budgeting advance for h/h items once you have been getting UC for 6 months. Before the 6 months period is up you can get one to start or keep work. You don't need to have fully repaid your previous advance to get this. It's a quick decision made on the phone and you could get the the payment in your account within 2 working days or the same day if urgent.
