Is there a minimum I can deposit in bank ?

Probably a really silly question as I’m pretty certain I know the answer Blush , have ran out of gas , and have less than £2 (emergency credit ) in the electricity , I don’t get money until Tuesday so nothing in bank until then , I do however have £5 in change that I have found after me and the kids had a big search 😂, can I go into bank and deposit this and will it be in my account instantly ? Obviously it would have to be tomorrow now and I no electricity will be touch and go between then and now but only thing I can think of . Tia

yes, take it and pay it in and it will be available immediately. You should presort it in to the different denominations

Thank you 😊 I thought it would but wanted to check before I relied on it , that’s a relief .

I've deposited loose change at the bank before without any problems. In my local bank there is a machine you can pour change/coins into and it counts it all up for you as it adds it to your account. I found it less embarrassing to use than using the counter service! I can't remember if it went in to my account instantly. There was no minimum amount to use it.

Something like that would be ideal, i do find it embarrassing especially since il have at least one of the 3 kids with me , but desperate times and all that. Hopefully there is a coin machine though.
