Is Arbonne a scam or a good opportunity?

I was recently approached by someone who is an area manager for Arbonne. Sold me the story of the dream. Network marketing and earning 6 figures and a white merc for a few hours work per week. The products are promoted as "pure and safe, vegan and gluten free". Upon research I noticed the ingredients are certainly not "pure" as contain plastics etc. which raised my concerns over the entire business opportunity. Does anyone have experience of the company and Is it worthwhile investing or an I wasting my time and cash?

It's not a scam but it is a pyramid scheme / mlm.. I don't think the products are that great and are expensive .. I wouldn't do anything that requires handing over any large amount of money before I started earning mlm or not .

Scam. There's a whole load of discussions in here about MLMs. Not sure I can link in the app.

@Scrumptiousbears ah thankyou. I ran a search but couldn't find anything. I'll try again.

It's MLM. The business model relies on signing up gullible friends. Don't fall for it.

GrumpySausage · 12/07/2019 12:00

You won't own the merc. You are given it when you reach a certain level but are expected to earn the lease fee each month. If not, bye bye merc.

Be wary of it. I have family members who got involved and when they tried to leave, it got nasty.

cherriesandoranges · 12/07/2019 12:13

@GrumpySausage thankyou. It feels a little cult like but u wasn't sure if I was becoming paranoid. I mentioned I wasn't comfortable selling the "pure" usp as the ingredients are not pure. (Fact) the response I got was really defensive and almost like they are brainwashed. Doesn't take much to google the ingredients etc.

Think I posted on your other thread in investments.

MLM's are disgusting. Avoid like the plague.

There are 2 main head offices, in Utah. Both ran by Mormons who are absolute legends at "recruiting"

You will never make any money. You are the customer. You will also become an awful person who calls everyone "hun" and "PM me" will be your new saying.

It's a cult, brainwashing is their game.

Watch the BBC documentary. Read the MLM watch bot on here.
