Sainsburys credit card-ID check

I have a sainsburys credit Card which is paid off monthly. My husband is an additional card holder, but account in my name. I've had the card for 5-6 years.

I've just been sent a letter with a reference code on to fill in some details for my husband, name, address, DOB. Does anyone know what's going on? Seems a bit random. Should I be worried about anything?

Have you phoned them to ask why they want the information?

It might be the 'know your customer' stuff that was happening recently. I had to send off stuff to my credit card company to prove who I was, even though I've had a card with them for decades.
