Want to quit job but can`t

Im currently working a PT job, In which I have been employed for about 4 years. Im now at the point where I am tired of this job, I find myself slightly depressed and I find I dont care about it all anymore and dont want to go in.

I want to get another job but I have a few restrictions such as transport etc.. I am actively searching for a job now.

I also run a blog on the side, Its getting bigger and bigger day by day and Im finding its quickly becoming a PT job with duties such as creating posts, finding stuff, responding to emails and loads more. I do make commission from the blog, But not as much to quit my job. Now I want to run this blog, Because I absolutely love doing it and I dont wanna stop but as I`ve said the commission isnt enough to live on.

I dont really know what to do in this situation. Im frustrated and stressed because I want to move on, But can`t.

Can anyone offer solutions on what I could do?

I am sorry if this post doesn`t make sense and seems rushed.. I did it before work.

Thank You

You look for another job and move when you find one - I don't really understand the question

Or you build up a savings pot and if you feel comfortable that you'll get a new job before it runs out, you can quit and live on savings.

And in the meantime you work harder in your current job to re-engage and ensure a good reference.

Find a new job.

I think its beyond the point of fixing and re engaging now. Im just fed up and want to look for something new. It is at the point now where I want to move on and try something new anyway.

it's a bit like being a toddler and stamping your feet and I don't mean that in a rude way

you want to find a new job because you don't like where you are but you can't quit the job financially till you have a new one

you have the answer right there - unfortunately, you have to stay where you are until you have a new job

the only other answer is to quit now and take the stress of suffering financially till your blog makes you enough commission or you have a new job - which doesn't seem to be something you can do

I'm sorry but if you need the money to live then you need to stick out the job until you find a new one or the blog begins to pay for itself.

A lot of people are not happy with their jobs but need to live.

Think yourself lucky you're only part-time?!
