High income child benefit charge

I am due to pay a high income child benefit charge for last tax year. It is not due for another month but I have accidentally paid it already and find myself needing the funds.

Any chance HMRC will refund this amount?

No. Take out a loan/interest free credit card. you won't get it back from them.
