lost debit card how long till reissed card comes

I have stopped the card but due to not remembering my password, (I would have set this over 10 years ago when the accout was opened) I could not get a card reissued. Now have to go to bank tomorrow to get a new card issued. In the mean time I have no money or easy access to it.
Does any one know about the time this will take. Has you must understand am a little worried that this may be up too two weeks.

I lost my credit card on Sunday and reported it straight away. My new card arrived yesterday. (I'm with HSBC)

we reported one missing, card came 2 days later. PIN took another week though.

I know! Maybe they are chiseling them out by hand.

I think when I worked at FD we quoted 5-7 working days.
