Will national lottery transactions affect mortgage application?

Hi,

In the process of mortgage application. My credit history is good and I am generally a very boring spender. Food shopping, childcare fees etc but I don't go out at all really. I never drink and have about 2 days out with the kids a month. I'm applying on my own after marriage break up a few years ago. I have a good 30-40% deposit.
I've been accepted in principal but they want my last statement. (they have all my others as it was given to adviser last month).

So stupidly I had a night of playing national lottery games. I NEVER play the lottery and there is nothing in previous statements to suggest I do.
I just thought I'd entertain myself for once. I know - bloody stupid!
I spend around £50 one night. I shocked myself and it scared the life out of me how addictive it was.
But now, obviously, It's on my statement.
Will these few (£10 x 5) transactions affect my ability now to get the mortgage?

Thanks in advance.

No. Absolutely not.

The fact that you are worrying about this is concerning - have you had a gambling issue in the past?

No never It'slike honest!!
I'm such a boring person now lol. I just thought it would look bad on my statement. It did scare me though. I must have played for a couple of hours.
The only things I'm addicted to (and ever have been) are caffeine and nicotine (I vape).

Nope, my bank statements also showed my poor sushi addiction along with the occasional national lotto spend, didn't affect us at all - we are MAXING out affordability too.

Thank you! The full application was received by them today so now the long wait!
