Interest in interest generation current account on 22,000?

I'm having to do a bit of investigating due to a role I have, I can't be specific but I need an idea on how much interest would be generated in an account on a figure of around 22,000?

It's just a interest generated bank account. But essentially if person A had person bs money in their account would person a have generated much in interest? TIA

Depends how long it was there for and on the interest rate.

Some instant access savings accounts pay 1.5%, so if left there a year then that would be £330.

Some bank accounts pay nothing, some only pay interest on some of the money, so it really will vary.

Thanks Nannynick. That's helpful.
