Tax credits and pension contributions

I am updating our expected earnings on the HMRC website as we expect DH to earn a bit more than we originally thought.

One question though, do I include pension contributions in how much we expect him to earn or deduct them?

Deduct them. The figure you need to give tax credits is the figure that would appear on your p60.

Great, thank you Smile

Hi may I jump in on this please? Basically my salary is taxed and then my pension is paid out. So the figure my employer provides is the gross amount. Do I provide pension payment details at point of receiving my renewal declaration? I pay nearly £2000 a year in pension
