Damaged item delivered from Argos - refund rights?

I have received damaged goods this morning and they cant pick it up til Monday next week, and I wont get a refund for another 10 days after they get it back - so about 3 weeks to get a refund for something that was very clearly damaged upon delivery (the delivery boys put other items over the damage to hide it)

Do I have the right to request an immediate refund?

How did you pay, if by credit card, make a claim on your credit card. If not, call them and tell them you want an immediate refund and it's up to them when they collect it within the next 28 days.
