Do you think this form filling error on tax credits will matter?

I have realised that I have filled DH's and my annual income in, in the wrong column. We both have salaries in the two figure of thousands and I have started in the hundred thousand space and left the right hand space blank rather than starting in the ten thousand space and leaving the hundred thousand space blank.

Will this matter? I am just concerned if a machine is reading it.

It says, for example, 10000 instead of 10000 IYSWIM.

I think it says if you make a mistake put a full straight line through it. and write is nex to it correctly.
Computer must split it out for human to look at.

lizziemun · 20/06/2007 12:12

I did that and it hasn't affected the claim.

OK will carry on. TBH I don't expect it to affect the claim because I think we will be just over. In fact I am concerned that we will find ourselves paying back the tenner a week we have been receiving since DH's last payrise.
