Hi please can anyone help me, xp has been suffering from mental health issues for the last 12 months and I have decided today I've had enough and can not live like this anymore. I have two children and it's not fair on them to be seeing all the issues that go with his mental health. Xp has said he will continue paying the mortgage as his maintenance and sign his half of the house over to me. I work 30 hours a week, does anyone know if I will get any tax credits or anything to help me pay the bills my children are 6 and 10.

If you live in a full service universal credit area then it will be that instead of tax credits.

He cant sign the house over to you if you have a mortgage unless you earn enough to get that amount of mortgage in your name.
