Tax Credits Renewal

Has anyone's renewal been processed yet?

Our tax credits were stopped out of the blue in May because they received the wrong income information for my DH (I wish he earned as much as they though!!). Anyway, they said in order to correct it I'd have to wait until the tax credit renewal was processed which could take 8-10 weeks after submission. I submitted it on 14th June and is now 1st September!! I'm expecting (and relying on) a back payment for everything they have missed as we now owe our childcare provider (who is thankfully very understanding) an awful lot!!

I submitted mine on 26th June and just chased it to be told it's still processing and they couldn't give any timescales.

I'm actually going to write a complaint because it says your award notice will be issued 8 weeks after you submit your renewal. I rang at 8 weeks to be told they say 8-10 weeks. It's now 11 weeks, still nothing and I'm told they don't know what the backlog or reason for delay is!!

Bloody ridiculous. I don't have an issue waiting, I have an issue with being given timescales and then they change them and keep giving out false information. I'm expecting a rebate which is why I'm a bit arsey about it.
