Bank charges back - advice about this letter please!

I am currently trying to claim back my bank charges from Natwest. I sent them letter2 detailing the amount of charges (£700ish), and they have sent me an acknowledging letter saying:
"Thankyou for your letter regarding fees applied to the account. We are currently considering your claim. Given the work involved in assessing your claim we anticipate that we will be in a position to respond within 6-7 weeks, but endeavour to do so sooner if we are unable to."

So what do I do now? Please help as can't seem to get on moneysaving site today for advice.

I got exactly the same letter as you but i'm claiming back £7k! I think we just have to wait now but on moneysavingexpert it says that we should still follow the timescale set by Martin Lewis.

Couldn't remember if there was a timescale for this stage or not. I didn't want to be fobbed off and forgotten iykwim!

Anyone else had this letter then??
