MLM Bot Watch 42

Spongebobette · 18/08/2018 12:09

This is the 42nd thread in a long series about the dangers of network marketing/ MLMs such as Forever Living, Ariix, NuSkin, Arbonne, Younique, TS Life, and MANY MANY more!
Posts here will give examples of the lies told by 'top bots' who portray luxury lifestyles in order to lure in new victims and of the other techniques and brainwashing used by MLMs
Over 90% of people who join an MLM end up LOSING money. Always bear that in mind when considering paying money to join!

Looks like yawn tried to join the anti mlm Facebook group. Got denied for not answering the questions tho.
Shame- could have been interesting!!

BSintolerant · 01/09/2018 13:43

Do you think Yawn tried to join that group so she can go through all the members and block them like she did with Timeless Vie? She's got too much time on her hands! Grin

Norma27 · 01/09/2018 14:06

Probably! I was going to comment say it was a shame she wasn’t allowed. Didn’t want to risk getting blocked by her tho as think she may still see comments!

Happypuppy · 01/09/2018 14:46

That would tie in with Yawn telling people to follow her on Instagram rather than Facebook now. She wants to know who to block there!

Whiterangey · 01/09/2018 15:02

That is stupid, all you would need to do is make another facebook account if you got blocked. If you don't want people to read your stuff, make it friends only and only add people who you know to your friends list.

acatcalledjohn · 01/09/2018 15:08

It is stupid. I have a fake account for that purpose exactly.

Annoyingly Salon has blocked me everywhere. I think at one point she became so paranoid that she blocked a fuck load of new followers if she didn't recognise them from somewhere.

BSintolerant · 01/09/2018 15:14

I too have several accounts to defeat control freaks like Yawn.

Norma27 · 01/09/2018 15:41

I did set up another account and forgot the details!

Norma27 · 01/09/2018 15:47

That account lasted about one hour before I was blocked by yawn!

Whiterangey · 01/09/2018 17:44

Another problem with having your whole life out there open to the public is you get your photos stolen by scammers and used to make profiles to scam people.

The latest profile to have stolen her pics states that she is working as something to do with visas. It's either some visa scam which is unlikely, more likely is just your normal romance scam. Tell men they are sexy and that you love them etc and get them to send you money.

The ones I get are always photos of men in the armed forces, I report every single one but they never get taken down. Hopefully as many people are reporting this and they can show where the photos are from it should get taken down.

ArbunneHun · 01/09/2018 17:58

The Femalepreneurs’ mini programme (ie not their full programme) costs £149.

GOOD GRIEF.

cozietoesie · 01/09/2018 18:01

Any idea what the 'full' programme will set individuals back?

ArbunneHun · 01/09/2018 18:05

I am reeling from the mini. Not sure I can take the full.

This is where the money is: the side industries. It’s disgusting.

ArbunneHun · 01/09/2018 18:10

You can be a member of their ‘Academy’ for just £33 a month or £333 a year!

Whiterangey · 01/09/2018 18:12

Wow! Of course they need customers, which I doubt they are going to get.

They won't will they? People won't be stupid enough to pay real money that could be spent on something else on that shit would they?

ArbunneHun · 01/09/2018 18:49

But if your #mindset isn’t right, MLM won’t work for you hun. You need to work on your mindset... then you’ll be rich.

Whiterangey · 01/09/2018 19:08

I'm working on it right now, along with my mantra.

"Can you lend me a fiver?"
"Can you lend me a fiver?"
"Can you lend me a fiver?"

Spongebobette · 01/09/2018 19:31

Absolute total and utter leeches, the pair of them.

Sleaze posted something this morning on the subject of goals. One of his points is that having goals tells you what you truly want.

These people are so unbelievably blinkered. Life is for living, not just travelling towards a destination.

Followed by claiming that goals help us live life to the fullest.

Because by always looking forward and towards that goal you will NEVER see these amazing things that happen around you all the time.

What a waste of life.

OhMyGodTheyKilledKenny · 01/09/2018 20:34

I've just gone on to Amazon and ordered the free sample of the Femalepreneurs literary masterpiece.

I'm looking forward to reading it later to send me into a deep sleep (or will I be laughing so much I'm likely to fall out of bed?)

Whiterangey · 01/09/2018 20:40

It was mentioned a couple of pages back about them being homeless, I agree with that, I think they have nowhere to live. May be having trouble renting due to CCJ's and maybe a poor previous renting history. It's possible they have run up rent arrears in previous properties. They may also not have a deposit, because they are broke.

CurlsandCurves · 01/09/2018 20:50

@acatcalledjohn I’m all for having goals, but its the pursuing of them at the expense of everything else that gets me. On one hand it’s all ‘sack the boss’ and extolling the joys of being able to spend time with your kids. Yet these are the same people prospecting at every available opportunity, driving across the country for a product launch, hosting or watching lives in the evening, etc.

@Ohmygod careful, your sleep will be disrupted with dreams of inspirational quotage. You’ll be waking up at 2am wanting to ‘take action’ and ‘smash it’. Just warn anyone you share a bed with!

BSintolerant · 01/09/2018 21:03

Femalepreneurs?

Are this ridiculous duo aware that the the word "femalepreneur" means "female taker"?

I too am looking forward to sniggering over the free sample of word salad. I need a laugh. God knows, we all need a laugh. At this rate we'll be laughing so hard that Timeless Vie will have to launch an incontinence pad MLM scheme for people like us who can't contain ourselves thanks to the antics of various female / pisspreneurs. Grin

acatcalledjohn · 01/09/2018 21:32

I'm certainly not anti goals, but to be solely focussed on goals often masks greed. It certainly does in bot world.

I have goals, but life absolutely gets lived in the pursuit of them. Nor are they particularly material, except the desire to own a property. And even that goal is more about investing in my retirement as opposed to wanting a great big countryside or city home. I'd like something big, but it's not the be all and end all and only if money allows. If I could afford a higher end car then great, but if all I'll ever have is a safe vehicle to get me from a to b then I'm just fine.

...

The last part from the femalepreneur book is vomit inducing:

So if you are ready for unstoppable success then grab your prosecco, pull up your boss babe pants and let’s get ready to step into your Femalepreneur power!

Prosecco & boss babe pants?

A) Gin
B) What the fuck are boss babe pants?
C) None of the above bring success.

A solid business plan, a USP, funds beyond business in a box costs and sheer fucking hard work, whilst ploughing profits straight back in to the business, might. If the business is independent that is.

I'm scared to start my own because the thought of it potentially not working (because the fail rate in real indy businesses is still significant) scares the crap out of me.

Perhaps I need to pull up my boss babe pants Hmm

BSintolerant · 01/09/2018 21:43

I hope that bossbabe pants are fire-proof.
