i receieved my offer letter 4 weeks ago and in it it said i would receieve a cheque within 10 working days of them recieving the acceptance slip. i've been phoning and phoning them and they just keep saying theres a backlog and it will be soon. am getting really peed off. i guess i am just going to have to write again putting more delay on it. they said they cant even see on the system when acceptance slips have been reciev ed only when they have sent the cheque out. so they may not even have recieved it then i will have another further delay if i have to send another bloody acceptance. has anyone else had to wait theis long? shall i just sit tight and wait? its my money and i really really need it! grrrrrrrr

I've been on the phone to Barclays, and it is taken them the legel amount of time (8 weeks) to offer an amount or to decline.
They said that it is simply due to the amount of work going through the department.
