Universal credit-3 children born prior April 2017

Hi, UC has not been made live in my area. It will in Sept. I have 3 children all born prior to April '17. If I have to make a change of circumstance and am made to apply for UC, will I get money for 3 children or only 2? Surely they can't take me worst off than I was before?

Thanks in advance x

Like legacy? So whatever I'm on will
Continue? It's just I've recently applied for mortgage. Have to update childcare costs and freaked myself out about UC. I've read a few related posts there though, so think
I'm ol x

UC is live in the area I moved into at Christmas.

I had to change to a joint claim and was terrified they'd put me on UC and we'd lose loads of money. But they kept me on tax credits because apparently I have too many children (four!)

Thanks the replies. Does anyone know how long legacy benefits will continue? Surely the system will at some stage be able to accept more than 2 kids??
