Is it illegal to sell Red Bull to under 16's?

My sister works in a shop and has been told she can sell it to anyone who wants to buy it regardless of age. Supermarkets don't sell it to anyone under 16 and my sister thinks this has to be because it's illegal

Does anyone know what the law says on this?

I don't think there is a law, maore a guideline maybe?

PenelopePitstops · 30/05/2007 18:45

no its perfectly legal to sell it to under 16s, I used to work in a well known supermarket and we did all the time.

I know there is a guideline that you shouldnt though

I saw two young children in ASDA last week drinking cans of red bull. They were the same age as my DSD so 9/10.

They were with their mother.

Ha! I bet she regreted that purchase at 11pm that night
